Hey there! Welcome to Bayou Born Gifts and Apparel. My name is Lisa, and I am a proud wife and mother. I also have two very rambunctious pups, Mia and Bailey, that keep me on my toes. My oldest son, Lynn, was a police officer prior to his passing in 2018 and very committed to serving his community, so blue blood runs deep in our family. My youngest son, Devon, owns a very successful dog training company with his wife, Kim. They made me a Mimi with the birth of their beautiful son, Rook, in August ‘22.

Bayou Born Gifts and Apparel was an idea that was started in 2019 as something fun to do for close family and friends, but quickly turned into a full time job that I am absolutely passionate about! I was born in New Orleans and raised just across the state line in Mississippi. I transplanted to Arkansas many years ago, but still hang on to all of my coastal, cultural traditions. Family gatherings to watch the Saints and the LSU Tigers are common for us, along with our annual crawfish boils. Oh, and did I mention that I am also a 6th grade literacy teacher at our local middle school? I love that I get to hang out and learn with 11 and 12 year olds all day. What a fun age!
